Giving Back Through the Gold Key Project

One of the most rewarding parts of my job isn’t just helping families find the perfect home—it’s knowing that, through the Gold Key Project, every family I help buy or sell a home also helps another family in need.
As a Gold Key Agent, I proudly donate the cost of a night’s stay at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City (RMHC-KC) for every home I help buy or sell. This initiative provides families with a place to stay while their child receives critical medical care, allowing them to be close during some of life’s most difficult moments.
Since 2020, ReeceNichols agents have collectively donated over $1.2 million, providing more than 10,000 nights of comfort to families across RMHC locations in Kansas City, the Ozarks, the Four States, and Wichita. In addition, these donations have helped fund renovations and even establish a new RMHC Family Room at Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
Beyond these donations, I also participate in my office’s contributions throughout the year—dropping off pantry items and supplies, and volunteering to prepare and serve meals for families staying at RMHC-KC. It’s a small way we can give back and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those going through unimaginable challenges.
